Alexej Sachov at boot Dusseldorf 2026
Maritime Art / Galeria boot - Hall 7, Booth A30
A large solo booth presenting six years of work. Twenty-three pieces across eight series - from oceanic abstractions at 180 cm to intimate coral studies and night-dive encounters. Every image made underwater, on dive, without compositing or digital manipulation.
Waves, coral surfaces, hidden creatures, black-and-white codes of nature, and the raw energy of the ocean at night. The booth brought together all directions of Sachov's practice for the first time in a single space.
Installation Views
Mixed Emotions / Storm (180 x 101 cm) - the largest work on view, from Mood Changes of the Sea. Photographed underwater during a storm - that unstable moment when uncertainty, power, and possibility coexist.
Three walls, three directions. Left: nature art photographs presented under the underwater.photography brand. Center: The Prehistoric Art of Nature #1 (110 x 110 cm) from The Jewel of Nature. Wrapping right: Calmness and The Jewel of Nature #1.
The front wall: two large coral works - The Prehistoric Art of Nature #1 and The Jewel of Nature #1 - flanking three pieces from The Hidden World, where underwater creatures emerge from total darkness.
Inside the booth: four series in one view. The Jewel of Nature #7, The Code from The Secret Code of Nature, Four Elements #1, and The Ballerina from Chronicles of an Emerging Diversity. On the table: The Spirit of Waves photobook.
The wave wall: Calmness (120 x 90 cm) at center, with Ghost Horse Racing, The Final Surge, and The Jewel of Nature #6 - oceanic motion and coral detail side by side.
The far wall: The Jewel of Nature #7, The Jewel of Nature #6, and three works from The Edge - the booth within the Maritime Art / Galeria boot area, Hall 7.
