The Jewel of Nature - Installation View

Vertical triptych installation of three works from The Jewel of Nature series by Alexej Sachov at Booth S311, Artexpo New York 2026

Close-up photographs of coral worlds where biological competition, vibrant color, and structural balance coexist in a single frame. Each image made on dive at close range - no composites, no digital painting. The abstract quality comes from the subject itself.

The Artist

Alexej Sachov (b. 1972, Kharkiv, Ukraine) creates process-based conceptual photographs during scuba dives. His work explores how life begins, competes for space, and reveals itself at microscopic range beneath the ocean surface.

M ART GALLERY, Booth 416

Four framed works from The Shape of Cosmos and The True Magic series by Alexej Sachov, presented by M ART GALLERY at Artexpo New York 2026

Two night-dive series presented by M ART GALLERY:

The Shape of Cosmos - Sachov introduces artificial objects into the ocean, placing the human-made into the organic to confront the divide between what we create and what nature creates.

The True Magic - Light, water, air, and particles merge beneath the surface in a continuous cycle of becoming. The night dive isolates the moment where these forces converge.

Recognition

Sachov has shown at Photo Basel, VOLTA Art Fair, ST-ART Strasbourg, and the Aesthetica Art Prize Exhibition at York Art Gallery (UK). Artexpo New York 2026 was his first solo booth in the United States.

All works printed on Hahnemühle paper, framed in Halbe museum-grade frames.
